To apply for the LiveSmart BC Efficiency Incentive Program homeowner grants, book a home energy assessment with a qualified Certified Energy Advisor who will complete an on-site assessment of your home, prepare a customized energy efficiency retrofit plan for your home, and complete the grant paperwork on your behalf. City Green is the only non-profit provider of the LiveSmart BC Efficiency Incentive and ecoENERGY Retrofit – Homes programs in BC. Energy Efficiency Assessment Diagnostic Tools

City Green Certified Energy Advisors use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and building science/ house-as-a-system training to identify trouble spots in your home or building, and then present you with cost effective solutions. A blower door air leakage fan test locates small and large leaks and calculates the combined air leakage from your home or building. Thermal imaging cameras provide a visual image of the heat transfer through your walls, attic and foundation, identifying air leakage zones, poor insulation, dangerous combustion spillage levels and more without intrusive investigations. For homeowners:

Discover how efficient your existing home is on an EnerGuide scale of 1 to 100, where the higher the number, the more efficient your home. Use our on-line booking form to tell us more about your home and schedule a visit today.

For homesellers:

Receive a home energy assessment, an EnerGuide rating and post your rating on the MLS. Show your home’s high EnerGuide rating to potential home buyers as proof of hidden upgrades like insulation, airsealing and improved heating and ventilation systems and more. Email us to book your assessment.

For home builders:

Ask us about the EnerGuide Rating Service for New Homes and Energy Star Rating programs where you can have your blueprints rated and then receive advice – before your build – on how to adjust your plans to increase your home’s overall energy efficiency.
