    To access a collection of the Time of Sale Homeowner Kits for your clients, please contact Jim Bennett (250 412 0338) with the Victoria Real Estate Board.

    How To Apply:

    1. Book a baseline home energy assessment with City Green at a cost of $150*.

      Ask your Realtor for a BC Hydro rebate voucher worth $75 off the cost of this first home energy assessment. You will receive the rebate after the visit is complete and your home’s EnerGuide rating is displayed on your home’s MLS listing.

    2. Complete your choice of renovations OR Present to your report to potential buyers so that they can complete the renovations upon the purchase of the home.

    3. After upgrades, complete a follow up assessment with City Green at a cost of $150*. City Green will apply for the grants on your behalf. Follow-up assessment must be completed before March 31, 2011.

      *Tax and mileage not included. Additional fees may apply. The total cost of an initial assessment is $300, but for a limited time, the BC Ministry of Energy, Mines, and Petroleum Resources is offering a subsidy of $150.

      Recieve LiveSmart BC grant cheque after the follow-up assessment. The cheque will be sent to the individual (seller or buyer) who is the homeowner at the time of the follow-up assessment.
